It has been unseasonably warm the past few weeks and it's keeping winter from literally sucking any joy or moisture out of me (suck it, winter!) and it's wonderful. My only qualm (ONLY) is that I can't wear any chunky sweaters. Chunky sweaters are a godsend during the holiday season. They give you the room to disguise all of those break room gift basket binges that we all do. Everyone does it, don't act like you're above me! I'm loving all these bright, geometric-print sweaters and cardigans. They're fun and keep you from having to wear a bunch of layer to keep warm. A coworker and I vented about our hatred of layers because all they do is ride up over your love-handles and remind you of how out of shape you are. So go for one layer instead of lots of bunched up tanks and long-sleeves. Ain't nobody got time for that!

Of course the day after I post my ode to Dolce & Gabbana's Fall/Winter collection, out comes the racist earring debacle of 2012. My stance on the earrings: why even go there D&G? Just let earrings be rocks and metal that hang from your earlobes. Leave the human visage out of it! I decided to buffer yesterdays post with today's way less racist post of fall sweaters! It has to be super cold for me to wear sweaters because I overheat like a Geo Storm in Phoenix, but that doesn't keep me from loving them! I usually find myself wearing boat neck, striped sweaters like the first one, but I'm really liking all these texturized chunky knits that look fashionable yet they allow you to eat as much pumpkin bread as you can handle. Of course I love my neons and brights and J.Crew is great for that sort of thing. I'm getting more into asymmetrical hemlines too. Don't go boring, go crazy!

Grey Skies

Rain again today. This last week of August has looked more like a rainy October than sunny summer. Even though it's still like 89 degrees outside it's starting to feel fall-ish. I concocted an outfit that reflects my mood at the moment. I effing love those one teaspoon jeans. I looked high and low for a pair, but it's like they've been kidnapped by the CIA and are super hard to find. I found a pair on asos.com, but not in this color (which is what I really wanted). Well that's all for now!
