Oh Shit, It's Christmas: Amazon Prime Lifesavers!

Amazon Prime Christmas!

Amazon Prime Christmas! by elbonner featuring dr martens boots

Who didn't realize that Christmas is next week? Own up! It's ok, you don't have to buy a bunch of poor quality chocolates and crusty eyeshadow palettes from Walgreens, there is still plenty of time when you have Amazon Prime! Amazon Prime is the greatest invention of the 21st century: $70 a year for free, two-day shipping to most places in the US (sorry Hawaii, that's what you get for being TOO PERFECT). What makes Amazon Prime even better is that you can sign up for a free 30 Day trial and cancel it after you've bought all your last-minute gifts!
Now, I scoured Amazon for you, finding the best stuff for your favorite lady, or fabulous male, friends/family to appease them and not look like you rushed and got them a sub-par gift. If you order today, everything should come by Friday the 20th so get to shopping! All of the items listed are available with Prime two-day shipping! YOU'RE WELCOME.

1. Wild Ferns Manuka Honey Hand Cream: New Zealand's Manuka honey is known for it's healing properties and this hand cream is great for dry, winter hands. Great for moms, nurses, or generally scaley people like myself.

2. Burt's Bees Superfruit Lip-Balm 4pk: Great for stocking stuffers, everyone needs lip balm, no matter what the season. And just about everyone loves Burts Bees! In fact, most Burts Bees products are available with Prime shipping.

3. The History of Surfing by Matt Warshaw: A big book with pretty pictures all about the best sport ever created. Perfect for beachy dads, history buffs, surfer boyfriends/brothers, or a creepily obsessed beach girl like me!

4. What is the What by Dave Eggers: The perfect book to remind you why you should be thankful for everything you've ever been given. A powerful story that made me a better human!

5. The Game of Things: great as a couples present or for a family. I love this game and whenever there's a big group everybody really likes playing. Board games are ALWAYS good presents!

6. Deborah Lippmann Get Nailed Manicure Essentials: Have a diva princess in the family? Get them this fierce manicure kit with a fancy polish remover, top/base coat, and basic nail colors all in a cute little bag. I always love getting fancy nail stuff!

7. Dr. Marten's Original 8 Eye Boot: If someone got me a pair of Dr. Marten's I would hug them until their head popped off. Guaranteed to be in your closet forever, they are a no-fail gift. You CANNOT go wrong with this one, people. Amazon has them in a variety of colors, but beware, not all colors and sizes may be able to ship Prime. Most are though so get to it!

I hope this helps you late shoppers cope with the impending doom which is the end of the acceptable Christmas shopping season. Don't kill yourself, shop smart! Happy holidays, y'all!

Spring Nail Colors

Spring Nail Colors

Spring Nail Colors by elbonner featuring butter london nail polish

It's officially spring time even though it snowed here the day after the first day of spring. It may still be cold and gloomy, but spring nail polishes are here and I want ALL OF THEM. My favorites are the mints, corals, and subtly 80s-a-rific pastel purples. It's like all the colors of Cadbury Mini Eggs made wearable on your fingers! Above are my favorites so far, my absolutes wants are the ones in the middle row from Butter London. Ugh, they look like so much fun! These can easily transition into summer and will look good if you've got a little color or if you chose to remain fair. It makes me yearn for the trees to blossom and not having to wear a jacket! I'm tired of having to pull all of my layers back over my muffin-top after once of them makes the other ride up. Go away winter, you're not welcome anymore. ALL HAIL SPRING!

Valentine's Day Wants

Valentine's Day Wants

Valentine's Day is just around the corner and it just happens to be my eight year anniversary with my boyfriend! No, we are not married or engaged yet, no he doesn't secretly hate me but is too nice to say so (I hope not), we just don't feel like  we need to be married to be happy together. Plus, weddings are stressful and expensive; I know I would be crap at planning one. It would be in someone's backyard with a bucket full of Bud Light and some veggie trays.

Ususally we don't exchange gifts on Valentine's Day, but I made a list of things that I wouldn't mind getting as a surprise! It's really just more of a list of stuff I want at the moment, so no real pressure for the BF!

Summer time? More Like Bummer Time...

Orange You Glad...

Orange You Glad... by elbonner featuring essie nailpolish

The past few weeks have been nothing but thunderstorms, 90+ degree weather and lots and lots of WORK, therefore making an enjoyable summer time almost impossible. Today is the first day that hasn't been so hot I have pit stains by the time I get to my car, but it's cloudy and stormy-looking. Because that's totally depressing me (and it's looking like my week off is going to be a week of clouds) I'm featuring these fun and sunny nail polishes that make me yearn to be brought into the light!

NARS for Thakoon- Lal Mirchi
 Essie- Tart Deco
Deborah Lippmann- Girls Just Want to Have Fun
OPI- In My Back Pocket
Zoya- Jancyn

I'll have to keep my fiery fingers crossed that the sun will show it's face before I go crazy! If these polishes don't make you happy, then feast your eyes on this:

Good day everyone!

Blue On Blue

Blue On Blue

Blue On Blue by elbonner featuring butter london nail polish

I'm really feeling blue and turquoise nail polishes this summer. They look great with tanned (fake tanned) skin and can add a fun bit of color to denim shorts and a white shirt. It also lets me daydream about the beach while I'm stuck at work hating my life.
